South Cumberland Halloween Parade
October 25, 2017
– 7 pm
The 68th annual South Cumberland Business and Civic Association “Marsha L. Thomas Memorial” Halloween parade is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. and follow the same route as in past years as it moves along East First Street to Virginia Avenue and disbands on W. Industrial Boulevard between Kirk Auto Sales and West Third Street.

Carrie: The Musical at the Cumberland Theatre
October 26 – 29, 2017 – Times vary
Based on the novel by Stephen King, Carrie: The Musical presented by the Cumberland Theatre tells the story of Carrie White, a misfit who is bullied by the popular crowd. At home, she is at the mercy of her overprotective mother, but when Carrie discovers her special power if pushed too far, she is not afraid to use it.

Frostburg Halloween Parade
October 26, 2017 – 6:15 pm
The annual Frostburg Halloween Parade will march down the historic Route 40, National Road on October 26, 2017. A special Halloween party for children 12 and younger will take place in City Place.

It’s Halloween Weekend at 1812 Brewery!
October 27, 2017
Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and enjoy Autumn’s favorite holiday. Thursday, October 26, is Game Night, challenge your friends to a board game. Friday, October 27, paint a pumpkin, put on your Halloween costume and sample a few different beers. Plus, Chef Paul’s Kitchen will be creating some magic from 5 – 8:30 pm.
Saturday, October 28, The Chicken Coupe food truck will be at the farm from 4 – 8 pm and Gibb Cochrum will be performing from 6 – 9:30 pm. Bring the kids out, pick a pumpkin from our patch. Delicious food. Great Music. Awesome Craft Beer. Happy Halloween! Sunday, October 29, last day of the pumpkin patch.

Arts Saturday: Cats and Bats
October 28, 2017
– 10:30 am – 12 pm
Students will join instructor, Donna Miller, to create their own Halloween decor from recycled toilet and paper towel tubes, a few pipe cleaners, wiggle eyes, and colored paper. Everyone will create fun garlands and decorations for Halloween fun! Presented by the Allegany Arts Council. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Halloween Spooktacular
October 28, 2017 – 11 am – 3 pm
Downtown Cumberland is the place to be on Saturday, October 28th for family fun.  The annual Halloween Spooktacular celebration takes place from 11 AM until 1 PM in Downtown Cumberland and is filled with fun activities: trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, and even a magic show. Magic Show at Town Center – 11 AM and Noon. The fun continues at Canal Place from 1 PM until 2 PM. Dress the kids in their Halloween costumes and come downtown to join the fun!

Ghouley Open Mic Night at the Embassy Theatre

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
